Nghe An begins injecting Vero-cell vaccine to prevent Covid-19

Immediately after receiving the factory release certificate from the National Institute for Vaccine and Biological Control, Nghe An allocated 200,000 doses of Vero-cell vaccine. Yesterday, the Provincial Military Command transported the vaccine to distribute to localities. This is the 17th vaccination campaign that Nghe An province has deployed. It is expected to be completed by October 6.
Nghe An started to deploy Covid-19 vaccination from April 20, 2021. The Covid-19 vaccines that have been injected include AstraZeneca vaccine, Pfizer's Comirnaty vaccine, and Moderna vaccine. This 17th batch is the first batch in which Nghe An deployed the Vero-cell vaccine of Sinopharm Group (China).
To ensure vaccination safety, Nghe An Health Department has thoroughly trained vaccination sites and staff. Localities have also carefully prepared, ensured human resources, materials and equipment at vaccination sites./.
