Nghe An: Seized 8,000 duck eggs of unknown origin

(Bao nghean.vn) - A car carrying 8,000 balut eggs of unknown origin from Ha Nam to Nghe An for sale was just discovered and arrested by authorities.

At 0:30 a.m. on June 7, while patrolling and controlling on National Highway 1A, through Dien Truong commune, the working group of Team 4 PC 49 (Nghe An Police) in coordination with Traffic Police Station 5-1 inspected a car with license plate 37B-00274 driven by Nguyen Dang Thanh - born in 1977, residing in Da Son - Do Luong.

Balut eggs of unknown origin were seized.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle was carrying 24 plastic crates containing 8,000 balut eggs without valid documents.

The driver admitted to transporting the above duck eggs from Ha Nam to Do Luong for sale. The task force seized all the eggs and handed them over to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling according to the law./.
