On July 31, authorities continued to investigate the cause of the death of a 5-year-old boy from Nam Dan district who fell from a high floor of a hotel.

Initial information said that at around 7am this morning (July 31), a female room attendant at the Shanghai Hotel in Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City brought her 5-year-old son to work with her. While the female employee was working, the child was playing in the hallway on the 9th floor. Unfortunately, the child climbed up the hallway window and fell from the 9th floor to the balcony on the 3rd floor of the hotel, dying on the spot.
