Nghe An: Forced to fire 2 kindergarten teachers due to suspicion of 'dirty' food

Mr. Vo Trong Anh is also currently temporarily in charge of Tho Son Kindergarten, replacing Ms. Tran Thi Phuong, principal, and Ms. Truong Thi Anh, vice principal, who have been suspended from work to investigate the incident. Along with that, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Anh and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, the school's kitchen staff, have also been forced to resign.
Previously, Mr. Vo Trong Anh said: On May 17, the school's parents saw Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Anh go buy chicken to cook for the children at school. However, out of 5 children, 3 showed signs of "dying". Immediately after that, the parents went to the commune authorities and requested a specific inspection.
In response to this incident, the commune requested the school not to use the chickens to cook for the children and invited the veterinary agency to inspect. The chickens were purchased from Mrs. Nhan's family in Hamlet 4, Tho Son Commune. This family regularly supplies chickens to the school and there is a contract between the two parties.
Currently, according to the conclusion of the veterinary agency, after examining 3 chickens, 2 were completely normal. The remaining chicken, after surgery, had a crushed ovary. Preliminary clinical diagnosis, suspected no dangerous infectious disease but there were signs of ecoli in chickens (fatty liver respiratory tract infection).

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training said: After understanding the situation, the Department of Education and Training directed the Department of Education and Training of Anh Son district to promptly verify the incident.
During the implementation process, it is necessary to clarify the responsibilities of the staff and teachers in charge of cooking along with the school leaders, handle any mistakes accordingly and strictly handle cases of intentional violations.
At the same time, we must do a good job of propaganda so that parents can feel secure sending their children to school and encourage them to attend school regularly.
It is known that Tho Son Kindergarten has 240 students. Today, after the incident, more than half of the students in the school have been absent.
