(Baonghean.vn) - In this year's 10th grade entrance exam, candidates will take 3 exams: Math, Literature and Foreign Language (English or French). Of which, there will be a written exam for Math and Literature; Foreign Language will be in the form of multiple choice.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1361/QD-UBND, approving the adjustment of the enrollment plan for grade 10 high school in Nghe An province, enrollment for grade 10 of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and grade 10 of Boarding Ethnic Minority High School for the 2020-2021 school year.

Accordingly, in this year's 10th grade entrance exam, candidates will take 3 exams including:Math, Literature and Foreign Language(English or French). In which, written test for Math and Literature; Foreign Language subject is in the form of objective multiple choice test including 50 questions, candidates do the test on multiple choice answer sheet, the results of candidates on multiple choice answer sheet are graded by computer software.

Expected time of the exam:July 18,19, 2020.However, this schedule may change accordingly if the 2020 high school graduation exam schedule changes.

The time for the entrance exam to grade 10 of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has also been adjusted and will be held onJuly 21, 2020(This schedule may change accordingly if the 2020 high school graduation exam schedule changes).

According to the Department of Education and Training, this school year, students in the province have been interrupted for many months due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, this adjustment will reduce exam pressure for candidates and schools. At the same time, it will be more convenient for candidates in the review process.

Previously, the 2020-2021 Grade 10 Entrance Exam was expected to include 4 subjects: Math - Literature and a 3rd subject group including Foreign Language + 1 other component subject (among the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Civic Education). This adjustment has reduced one component subject in the combined exam compared to previous years.
