AttackTyphoon ConsonIt is forecasted to be a strong storm, moving towards the East Sea and is likely to affect our country's waters. To proactively avoid the storm safely, localities are currently contacting and counting the number of fishing boats at sea to have a plan to dock as soon as possible.
Quynh Lap Commune (Hoang Mai Town) is a locality with a large number of offshore fishing boats, with over 100. Mr. Nguyen Van Nho - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee said that this morning, the local government conducted a census of the number of boats fishing at sea, thereby contacting the boat owners to proactively dock to avoid the storm. "This season, fishing boats are in the inland sea, so the boats can dock at fishing ports in the South Central region for closeness to export seafood, at the same timestorm shelter, then continue to stick to the sea," said Mr. Nho.

Accordingly, communes with fishing boats should proactively notify owners of vehicles operating at sea of the location and direction of storm Conson so that they can proactively find safe shelter; strictly manage the departure of boats... Localities coordinate with Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station to inspect and guide the anchoring of boats at the wharf.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Chat - Chairman of the Quynh Long Commune Fisheries Association (Quynh Luu) said that currently, the whole commune still has about 50 fishing boats at sea. The locality is proactively contacting the boat owners to have a plan to return to shore safely before the storm enters the East Sea.
According to the Management BoardLach Quen fishing port(Quynh Luu) said that currently, there are some ship owners who are on their way back to shore. By the afternoon of September 8, about 10 fishing boats will dock at the port to export seafood and temporarily stop to avoid the storm heading towards the East Sea.

Dien Chau district is the locality with the largest number of inshore fishing boats in the province, with nearly 1,200 boats, fishermen often go back and forth during the day.
