In the 2024 - 2025 school year,Educationcontinues to receive attention, support, and regular direction from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the support of provincial departments, branches, and local authorities. From there, it creates momentum for the province's educational movement to continue to develop, achieve many outstanding results, and affirm its position in terms of educational quality nationwide.

At the end of the school year, the whole industry achieved many brilliant results with Nghe An students winning for the first time.7 medalsregional and international, including 4 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Russian, and 96 national excellent students. Students at all levels won many awards and medals at national competitions and tournaments, demonstrating the harmonious development between advanced education and mass education.

In particular, in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Nghe An leads 34 provinces and cities. with an average score of 52.92.

Multiple missions in new context

Speaking at the conference, comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training said that the 2025-2026 school year is the first school year to be implemented in the context of implementing a two-level local government.

With many changes in management, the head of the education sector has summarized 8 important elements to implement education work in localities, including educational goals, educational content, building a team of teachers, taking students as the center, educational methods, material facilities, teaching equipment, educational environment and finally educational results.

During the implementation process, the Department will soon have guidance documents and will work with the facilities to promptly remove obstacles and difficulties.

In addition, to adapt to the new context, the implementation of the task is expected to have adjustments, such as re-planning the school network, merging small-scale schools, transferring teachers to harmonize the whole industry, and transferring teachers from places with surplus to places with shortage. This is also a factor to ensure fair access to education for students, creating conditions for teachers to work near home.

From the next school year, the Department will soon have guidelines to recognize excellent teachers and students at the commune and provincial levels, adjust the admission plan at the beginning of the school year, avoid negativity and out-of-area admission.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long affirmed that this was a very important conference with many delegates attending for the first time. This will be an opportunity for officials in charge of education and training in the communes to listen and share about the tasks in the new period.

Looking back at the results achieved in the past school year, comrade Bui Dinh Long acknowledged and congratulated the achievements that the entire sector has strived for. The results achieved reflect the concerns, dedication and efforts of teachers and schools, bringing Nghe An Education sector to continue its position in the top of the country.

Entering the new school year - the first year of implementing the two-level local government, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Education sector to rearrange the school system, reduce the number of separate schools, rearrange vocational schools, and research and advise on the use of facilities of the headquarters after the merger to serve educational work. In particular, special attention is paid to organizing teaching for students in schools in flood-affected areas before the new school year.

In addition, the education sector and the new government need to overcome existing shortcomings and limitations, not allowing any difficulties to affect students' learning. Commune-level authorities need to proactively implement tasks according to guiding documents, implementing "6 clears" and "4 nos" in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister.

In addition, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long also requested to continue to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate education and training associated with implementing the Education Development Strategy; Resolution on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

In addition, continue to implement specific policies, deploy educational models, and pay attention to building boarding primary and secondary school models in border communes.

The industry needs to play a good intermediary role between vocational schools, general schools and businesses to do a good job of recruiting and introducing jobs. Take advantage of the advantages to build schools into cultural and safe units, creating a prestigious brand from general education, vocational training to universities.

In the immediate future, we will prepare conditions to enter the new school year 2025 - 2026 with many achievements and successfully complete the assigned tasks.

At the closing ceremony, authorized by the President, Comrade Bui Dinh Long awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to Mr. Dao Cong Loi - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training for his outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
