The 2024 - 2025 school year is considered one of the "bumper harvest seasons" of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
The school's students brought home a total of 7 prestigious medals in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Russian, including 4 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals.

This outstanding achievement contributed to bringing the Vietnamese student group to the top of the world in intellectual competitions.
Specifically, at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) held in Australia, Vo Trong Khai won a Gold Medal and ranked 8th among contestants from all over the world.
At the Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad held in Brazil, Nguyen Ngo Duc won a Gold Medal, ranking 9th globally.

Physics also witnessed impressive achievements when Nguyen The Quan consecutively won Gold Medals at both the Asian Physics Olympiad (ranked 3rd) held in Saudi Arabia and the International Physics Olympiad held in the French Republic (ranked 2nd).
Phan Quang Triet won a Silver Medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad and Tran Nguyen Khai won a Silver Medal at the European Physics Olympiad (held in Bulgaria); Luu Le Thuc Nhien won a Silver Medal at the International Russian Language Olympiad held in the Russian Federation.

The above results once again affirm the position of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted as one of the leading specialized schools in the country, where many generations of talented students are discovered, nurtured and given wings to reach international heights.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh affirmed: The excellent achievements of the students continue to affirm the position of the studious land of Nghe An in particular and Vietnam in general.

This is a worthy continuation of the tradition of studiousness, the glorious tradition of the school named after patriot Phan Boi Chau; a great pride not only for the students themselves and their families, but also a common joy for the school, the education sector and the entire Party Committee and people of the province.

These prestigious medals are the result of constant efforts, and are a testament to the aspiration of Nghe An's young generation to "stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers". This achievement is also a meaningful gift to express gratitude to dedicated teachers and parents who have devoted themselves to their children.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the provincial leaders always accompany and create the best conditions for the career of cultivating people, so that more and more Nghe An students can reach high and shine.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his belief in the team of teachers, besides innovating advanced, exemplary and pioneering teaching methods, they need to continue to nurture and improve to have a broad knowledge and tolerance for all differences, skillfully leading and supporting their beloved students to rise up and continue to achieve more achievements on the path of learning.

At the program, provincial leaders, the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education presented flowers and awards to 6 students who won international prizes and 7 teachers with outstanding achievements in nurturing students, including: Mr. Phan Van Thai and Mr. Nguyen Trong Dat in Mathematics; Mr. Le Xuan Bao in Physics; Mr. Le Van Tu and Ms. Phan Thi Thieu Hoa in Chemistry; Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thuy and Ms. Ho Hai Ngoc in Russian.
