Nghe An prepares for Women's Congresses at all levels
(Baonghean) -To prepare and organize the Women's Congresses at all levels for the 2011-2016 term, towards the 11th National Women's Congress, right from the beginning of 2011, the Women's Union of Nghe An province has focused on directing all levels of the union with many specific and practical contents.
Regarding the direction work, the Union has deployed a plan to guide the preparation of documents and organization of congresses for key officials of 20 district and city associations and women's unions of armed forces units; Directed all levels of the union to strengthen propaganda work, organize a summary of the implementation of the Resolution of the Women's Congress for the 2006-2011 term, decided on goals, directions and tasks for the 2011-2016 term; Discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the Women's Congress at higher levels and the documents of the 11th National Women's Congress; Prepared personnel for the election of the Executive Committee of the Women's Union at all levels... The Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union agreed to focus on directing the pilot women's congresses at all levels for the 2011-2016 term in Do Luong district.
Under the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, the grassroots women's congresses will be held in the first and second quarters of 2011; the district, city and affiliated unit women's congresses will be held in the third quarter. The Nghe An Provincial Women's Congress will be held in the fourth quarter of 2011.
This is considered a broad political activity, of special importance to all levels of the association and women of all classes. Through the congress, it aims to strengthen solidarity, promote democracy, and arouse the creativity of women of all classes; at the same time, continue to promote innovation in the content and methods of operation, develop a strong association, contribute to enhancing the position of the association, and promote equality and progress of women.
