Nghe An joins hands to support Bac Giang in lychee consumption

This year, the whole Bac Giang province has 28,000 hectares of lychee, with an estimated output of 180,000 tons. Of which, more than 200 hectaresfabric exported to Japanwith 30 area codes; 218ha exported to: USA, European Union (EU) with 18 area codes and 15,867ha to China including 149 area codes. All of this area is guided, controlled in the care process and traceable in origin.
In particular, to proactively source goods for export to the Japanese market, from the beginning of the year, 11 more growing area codes were added, thereby increasing the total number of lychees exported to Japan to 30 codes with 260 participating households, total area of 219.45 hectares.

In the current tense epidemic situation, transactions, connections, surveys, trade, and lychee purchases by businesses and traders are very limited, especially for export. Therefore, Bac Giang organized a conference to promote trade,looking for lychee consumption marketsdomestically and exported through many different channels, creating all conditions for businesses and traders to purchase and consume lychee.
Sharing with Bac Giang, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has issued an official dispatch directing support and facilitation in the transportation, circulation and export of agricultural products across the border, including Bac Giang lychee.

In addition to implementing the contents of the document, departments, branches, and mass organizations in the province have had many practical activities to consume Bac Giang lychee: The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with agents, supermarkets, wholesale markets, etc. to connect and distribute Bac Giang lychee consumption at retail systems in the province; Encourage businesses and production facilities to process lychee products; Take advantage of the capacity of frozen and cold storage to preserve and supply lychee to people.
Currently, Nghe An Market Management Department is coordinating with the Provincial Post Office to consume 100 tons of lychee; Farmers' Association, Women's Association... are calling on members to join hands to consume lychee.
"Promoting trade and finding outlets for lychees in particular and agricultural products in general in the current context is a problem for all localities. It requires the cooperation of relevant parties in linking and connecting in product consumption and the cooperation, participation and support of all people. This is also a meaningful activity demonstrating joint action for the community, unanimously helping people in difficult times in the epidemic area."
