The program is also an activity of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs towards the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 32/2020/QD-TTg dated March 25, 2010 approving the Project on social work development for the period 2010 - 2020 (Project 32), marking an important milestone of the social work sector in Vietnam.

Attending this special event were National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, Politburo member Nguyen Thien Nhan, Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, former Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung... and many leaders of other agencies and ministries.

Speaking atCommendation CeremonyMinister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung said: Of the 400 delegates attending the Commendation Ceremony, 187 were women, 20 delegates were individuals and businesses with large contributions, and 300 delegates were people without any positions, living across the country.

"They could be teachers who diligently teach, medical staff who work side by side with hundreds of poor patients, people who work hard on free ambulances, people who donate every drop of blood to bring hope to this "meeting of hundreds of beautiful fairy tales in everyday life" - the Minister said.

The examples honored this time are the caretakers who have spent many years looking after the martyrs’ cemetery, the people who have spent decades quietly collecting trash from the river, protecting the environment, the knights who catch robbers in everyday life. The people who have taken care of hundreds of abandoned children, the traditional medicine doctors who have successfully treated hundreds of difficult cases…

In this commendation ceremony, Nghe An has 8 delegates including: Priest Nguyen Dang Dien - Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hong - Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Voluntary Drug Rehabilitation Center; Mr. Le Trung Thuc - Director of the Social Work Center located in Do Luong District; Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - Head of Specialized Education - Semi-Integration, NA Center for Education - Vocational Training for the Disabled; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy - Team leader of the medical station, Nghe An Mental Health and War Invalids Nursing Area; Ms. Vo Thi Van - Nurse of Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center; Ms. Luu Thi Ly Lai - Therapist, Nghe An Provincial Children's Fund; Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son District. At the program, very meaningful numbers about social security in the past half year were reviewed, that is, more than 7,000 tons of rice were distributed, 24 million health insurance cards were delivered to the poor, more than 12,500 billion VND was disbursed to support people in difficulty during the Covid-19 pandemic...
