With its efforts, in 2014, Nghe An was honored to be ranked 6th in the top 10 localities with the highest ICT Index in the country.
However, in the past year, the application of information technology in the province has not been uniform among units. Although the press agencies have done a good job of reporting news, they still lack articles that provide direction for major issues in the province. In some cases, the information provided is not consistent with the functions, tasks and principles set by the governing agency. The management of representative agencies and resident reporters is still difficult. The management of blogs and electronic information pages is still inadequate, and the management of grassroots radio stations in Nghe An is difficult due to limited local budgets. State management of information and communication at the district level has made much progress but still does not meet requirements.
