(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of September 20, the Central Mass Mobilization Commission delegation led by comrade Tran Thi Bich Thuy – Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission worked with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the results of 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo on “Building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration” (Resolution 09).

Immediately after Resolution 09 was issued, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized dissemination and promulgation of the Action Program and many implementation projects; at the same time, assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to monitor, regularly grasp the situation, promptly guide, inspect and urge the implementation.

Thereby, awareness of party committees at all levels, authorities, cadres, party members, people and businessmen about the role of businessmen in the cause of industrialization, modernization and international integration is raised.

The province has built, completed, and issued mechanisms and policies, creating a favorable environment for businesses and entrepreneurs to operate, such as promoting administrative reforms, holding annual investment promotion conferences, etc.; at the same time, supporting the business community to expand their scale, improve the efficiency of their operations, and encourage the development of entrepreneurs in rural areas.

In addition, the province pays attention to training and fostering entrepreneurs. From 2012 to present, implementing the Project to foster Nghe An entrepreneurs in the period 2012-2015, with a view to 2020, the province has organized training for 3,562 students;..

Along with that, Nghe An promotes ethics, business culture, social responsibility, national spirit of the business community, builds harmonious labor relations; promotes the role of representative organizations, the business community and the business community; strengthens the Party's leadership in building and promoting the role of the business community.

Since then, the team of entrepreneurs and business managers in the province has grown steadily. To date, the total number of registered businesses is nearly 15,300, ranking first in the North Central region and seventh in the country.

Enterprises in Nghe An are diversified, with the largest proportion in the fields of trade, services, construction, mining and processing industry. In 2015, enterprises contributed more than 7,400 billion VND to the budget, accounting for 60% of the province's total budget revenue.

However, the majority of enterprises are located in Vinh City, accounting for nearly 48%, only more than 25% of enterprises operate in mountainous areas, of which only 2.86% of enterprises operate in highland areas; and according to tax authorities, there are 9,500 enterprises operating, accounting for 62% of the total number of registered enterprises.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong affirmed that the Party Committee and the government highly value the role of businesses and entrepreneurs in the future and development of the province. Therefore, the province encourages, welcomes, supports, and ensures equality for entrepreneurs and all types of businesses so that they can develop their talents and enrich themselves, their families, their hometowns, and the country.

Therefore, Nghe An province has proposed many solutions to continue effectively implementing Resolution 09, focusing on issuing mechanisms and policies to support business and entrepreneur development; continuing to promote administrative reform; and innovating methods in training entrepreneurs.

Besides, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong also emphasized the viewpoint: Enterprises and entrepreneurs in the development relationship are always considered the top priority, but must be associated with the goal of ensuring social stability and environmental safety.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Tran Thi Bich Thuy highly appreciated the results Nghe An achieved in 5 years of implementing Resolution 09. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization suggested that the province continue to thoroughly grasp Resolution 09 to raise awareness and responsibility for the role and position of enterprises and entrepreneurs, especially in the context that our country is implementing new generation free trade agreements.

In addition, the province continues to effectively implement the policies of the Central Government and the province on supporting entrepreneurs and enterprises; directs the review and promulgation of policies in the new situation; promotes administrative reform and measures to improve the provincial competitiveness index (PCI); effectively implements the dialogue mechanism and consults with enterprises in building mechanisms and policies.

The province also needs to direct the strengthening of coordination between units, departments, branches, sectors and organizations to solve difficulties of enterprises; continue to pay attention to building business ethics and culture, implementing grassroots democracy regulations in enterprises; continue to promote the role of business associations as a bridge, representing the voice, thoughts and aspirations of enterprises with Party committees and authorities at all levels; and propagate the Resolution to the business community.

On the other hand, Nghe An needs to continue to strengthen the Party's leadership in implementing Resolution 09. "In particular, pay attention to inspecting and supervising the implementation of affiliated Party Committees; continue to promote the implementation of the project on developing Party organizations, unions, Party members, and Union members in enterprises, especially focusing on non-state enterprises, developing Party members who are business owners, training and providing information to the business community about laws and international practices...", Comrade Tran Thi Bich Thuy emphasized.

Along with that, the Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization requested that the province continue to pay attention to directing the responsible department to monitor the implementation of the conclusions of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee with the agencies assigned to resolve issues related to businesses and entrepreneurs.
