((Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 19, at Mau 6 hamlet, Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan), the Provincial Fire Police held an oath-taking ceremony to launch the activities of Fire Police Department No. 7.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee; Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Provincial Police, Provincial Fire Police, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen districts.

Fire Police Department No. 7 was established under Decision No. 3390/QD-BCA dated June 8, 2015 of the Ministry of Public Security on the basis of separation from Fire Police Department No. 1, in charge of fire prevention, fighting, rescue in the area of ​​3 districts Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen.

On September 14, 2015, the Provincial Fire Police issued Decision No. 646/QD-CCPC&CC-P2 on the implementation of the activities of Fire Police Department No. 7. The department is headquartered in Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan); the department has 3 teams including: General Team, Fire Safety Inspection Guidance Team and Professional Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Team. The temporary staff includes 28 officers and soldiers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Fire Police Department No. 7 to quickly stabilize the organization, arrange, organize, and assign specific tasks to each officer and soldier; focus on researching, training in tactics, techniques and firefighting skills for officers and soldiers; proactively and creatively advise the district authorities on fire prevention, rescue and relief work; strengthen propaganda, training, dissemination of legal education and knowledge and skills on fire prevention, firefighting and rescue.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Party committees and authorities of Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen districts to improve the effectiveness of State management on fire prevention and fighting, and direct agencies and units located in the area to strengthen close coordination with the Fire Police Department in implementing legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting and rescue.
