Nghe An announces list of schools recruiting NV2, NV3 students for grade 10
According to the newly announced plan, only 5 public high schools will recruit 2nd and 3rd choices.
On April 21, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province announced Decision No. 529/QD - SGD & DT on approving the enrollment of NV 2, 3 Entrance Exams intoGrade 10school year 2025 - 2026.
Accordingly, in the list of 105 public and non-public high schools, vocational education - continuing education centers and continuing education centers, there are 43 units enrolling NV2 and NV3 students.
Of these, 5 are public schools including Yen Thanh 2 High School, Yen Thanh 3 High School, Tan Ky 3 High School, Tuong Duong 2 High School and Ky Son High School. The remaining units that enroll NV2 and NV3 are all non-public schools or Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers and Continuing Education Centers.

With this admission plan, the chances of candidates being admitted to public schools according to NV2 and NV3 are not high.
Previously, according to the 10th grade admission plan this year, each candidate was allowed to register for a maximum of 3 wishes. Of which, wish 1 was to enter a high school (public, non-public) or a Continuing Education Center or a Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center; wish 2 was to enter a high school (public, non-public), a Continuing Education Center, a Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center that enrolls wish 2; wish 3 was to enter a high school (public, non-public), a Continuing Education Center, a Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center that enrolls wish 3.
This year, the Department of Education and Training will continue to allow candidates to change NV1, NV2 and NV3 after the exam if they wish. The deadline for submitting applications to change wishes is 5:00 p.m. on June 6, 2025.
In addition to the 3 wishes mentioned above, candidates can register for classes implementing advanced school models following the international integration trend at Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Le Viet Thuat High School and Ha Huy Tap High School.
Students enrolling in advanced classes can register in the following categories:Admission is based on academic results, secondary school training results and international English proficiency certificates.
Candidates need to have an IELTS Academic English certificate of 4.0 or higher or other international certificates equivalent to an IELTS Academic English certificate of 4.0 or higher such as TOEIC four skills (450 points or higher), TOEFL ITP (450 points or higher), TOEFL iBT (31 points or higher),...
In addition, students can be considered for admission according toacademic results, secondary school training results and international IT certificate results.Accordingly, you need to have at least 1 of 3 certificates: IC3 GS6 Level 1, IC3 GS6 Level 2, IC3 GS6 Level 3 with 700 points or more.
Candidates applying for advanced classes can also apply for admission according to10th grade entrance exam results for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the instructions, the admission rate between students with international English and IT proficiency certificates and the results of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year will be decided by the school and submitted to the Department for approval.
