(Baonghean.vn) - The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An province has published a list of 40 enterprises operating in labor export in the province.

These enterprises all have full documents according to regulations such as: operating license issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, registered labor supply contracts, notices of enterprises working in registered countries and are introduced by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to localities to recruit workers.
40 enterprises with the function of participating in selecting and sending Nghe An workers to work abroad are all enterprises from other provinces and cities.
According to Mr. Duong, in 2014, the inspectors of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An discovered and suspended 2 enterprises that did not have the function of exporting labor but still issued recruitment notices and illegally collected brokerage fees from laborers; 3 subjects impersonated officials of the Government Inspectorate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to defraud 43 laborers to work in Korea and Canada, embezzling more than 7 billion VND...

To prevent some organizations and individuals from taking advantage of labor export to defraud, profit, and illegally collect money from workers, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An province has publicly announced a list of businesses qualified to operate labor export in the area.
Currently, the number of Nghe An province’s workers working abroad for a limited period of time is over 55,000 people. The foreign markets of Nghe An’s workers are mainly concentrated in Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Middle Eastern countries…
The amount of foreign currency transferred by overseas workers annually reaches about 250 million USD/year. Of which, over 110 million USD/year is sent through commercial banks in the province and about 140 million USD/year is brought back directly or by other means by workers.
