Nghe An and 3 other provinces are provided with vaccines to prevent livestock and poultry diseases.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to provide (free of charge) vaccines and disinfectants from the national reserve to support four localities (Son La, Yen Bai, Nghe An and Thua Thien Hue) in preventing and controlling livestock and poultry diseases.

Specifically, Son La province: 42,880 doses of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine for cattle and buffalo type O; 21,440 doses of Pasteurellosis vaccine for cattle and buffalo and 11,500 doses of Swine Fever vaccine.
Yen Bai Province: 30,000 doses of LMLM vaccine type 2 (O,A); 5,000 liters of Benkocid disinfectant and 5,000 liters of Han-Iodine disinfectant.
Nghe An Province: 20,000 doses of LMLM vaccine type 2 (O,A); 20,000 doses of Pasteurellosis vaccine for cattle; 25,000 doses of Swine Fever vaccine and 10,000 liters of Benkocid disinfectant.
Thua Thien Hue Province: 50,000 doses of LMLM type O vaccine and 5,000 liters of Benkocid disinfectant.
The Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of 4 provinces: Son La, Yen Bai, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue to be responsible for receiving, managing and using the above chemicals in accordance with regulations.
