Nghe An won 2 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals at the National Professional Music and Dance Festival (2nd round) in 2012

(Baonghean.vn) -The National Professional Music and Dance Festival (phase 2) 2012 took place from August 12 to 21, 2012 in Dak Lak province, with the participation of 32 art troupes, more than 2,000 actors, and 347 entries.

Evaluating the success of this Festival, People's Artist Le Ngoc Cuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association, Chairman of the Jury, said: This Festival has the largest number of participating units, including 32 delegations representing provinces and cities from the 3 regions of North, Central and South; is the Festival with the largest number of works (including 347 works) of many topics and genres, elaborately and creatively staged... What is especially surprising is that during the past 10 days, at the Dak Lak Cultural Center, every day there were 6-7 hundred audiences coming to watch and cheer on the performing artists, this is something rarely seen in professional art festivals... The delegations participating in this festival all demonstrated a sense of responsibility, a serious sense of professional work, with many new and unique creative discoveries in the program structure, in staging techniques, in exploring and exploiting topics.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded Program Awards including 07 Gold Medals and 06 Silver Medals; Performance Awards including 50 Gold Medals (Nghe An Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe won 02 Gold Medals for the performance "Dance back" and the performance "The boys on the forest farm") and 71 Silver Medals (Nghe An Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe won 02 Silver Medals for the performance "Back to my homeland" and the performance "Confessions of a thin shirt").

The Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to the winning units.
