Nghe An invests over 840 billion VND to build a 'student-centered' kindergarten

On January 25, 2017, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Plan No. 56/KH-BGDDT on implementing the topic "Buildingkindergarten“Child-centered” for the period 2016 - 2020. The main goal is to build a kindergarten that meets the requirements of the educational environment; innovate management and direction; innovate child care and education activities according to the educational perspective of taking learners as the center”.

In Nghe An, from 4 pilot schools in the first school year, after 5 years, 556/556 schools have implemented the project. This has mobilized nearly 840 billion VND to invest in upgrading facilities, equipment, toys and changing the appearance of the school space.

At the summary conference, the presentations also affirmed that the implementation of the topic has gradually changed teaching and learning in schools, especially helping teachers to be more creative in planning education, choosing forms and methods of organization and promoting children's abilities.

At the same time, it contributes to improving the quality of preschool education programs, making children bold, confident, interested and actively participating in experiential activities.

In addition, the conference also analyzed current difficulties and problems. On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 23 groups and 24 individuals who had made outstanding achievements in implementing the project. In addition, 3 other units were selected to propose the Ministry of Education and Training for commendation.
