Nghe An mobilizes more than 900 billion VND, 840,000 working days to build kindergarten
On the afternoon of April 24, in Hoang Mai town, Nghe An Department of Education and Training held a conference to summarize the model "Coordination between family, school and community in child care and education" and the topic "Building a child-centered kindergarten" for the period 2020 - 2025.

In recent times, implementing this model, with creative and effective methods, schools across the province have proactively coordinated with parents to participate in building preschool education programs, organizing child care and education activities, and developing plans to organize experiences for children according to topics and themes to improve the quality of program implementation.
At the same time, coordinate with the Parents' Representative Board to develop a plan for socialized education in many forms such as supporting funds, working days, and materials to build a green, clean, beautiful, safe and friendly educational environment.

In 5 years, schools have mobilized more than 900 billion VND and more than 840,000 working days to jointly invest in facilities and purchase equipment.
Thanks to that, kindergartens across the province have had a breakthrough change in appearance in building a child-centered educational environment, ending the situation of building a decorative and formal environment.

Statistics ofDepartment of Education and TrainingUp to now, implementing the model of "Coordination between family, school and community in child care and education", 438/540 preschools have been evaluated and classified as good (81.1%), 85 schools as fair (15.8%) and 17 schools as qualified (3.2%). The number of independent class groups evaluated and classified as fair and good is 196/340 facilities (57.7%). The number of qualified facilities accounts for 38.2%; the rate of unqualified facilities accounts for 4.1%.
Meanwhile, 100% of private independent kindergartens and preschools have implemented the model of "Building a child-centered kindergarten", of which 65% of schools are good, 25% are fair, and 10% are satisfactory. Independent educational institutions are classified as fair and satisfactory due to limited area, some facilities lack toys and equipment, and have not had many innovations and creativity in implementing preschool education programs.

At the conference, delegates shared models and experiences in the implementation process. In addition, they also pointed out some difficulties and limitations focusing on issues such as planning construction works, slow innovation of teachers' teaching methods... in order to find solutions to overcome them in the coming time.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Khoa highly appreciated the results that schools have achieved in the past 5 years. At the same time, he acknowledged the companionship and coordination of families, communities and social organizations in the implementation process.

In the coming time, to maintain and expand the models, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training suggested that educational institutions need to do a good job of consulting on planning the school network to suit the development in the new period, ensuring the goal of universalizing preschool education for preschool children and implementing program innovation.
In addition, it is necessary to coordinate effectively with local authorities, mass organizations and parents to mobilize all resources to support schools in improving facilities, especially schools in mountainous and disadvantaged areas.
Continue to invest in building a modern, friendly educational environment, proactively applying advanced methods, learning from experience and applying them flexibly and creatively, suitable to local and school conditions.

On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 44 collectives and 109 individuals who have successfully implemented the model "Coordination between families, schools and communities in child care and education" and the topic "Building child-centered kindergartens" in the period 2020 - 2025./.
