Nghe An: Thieves stole hundreds of millions of dong while going to the countryside market on Tet holiday
(Baonghean.vn) - Parking motorbikes at Van market to buy Tet items, in 2 days, 2 people had nearly 100 million VND stolen.
The incident occurred at 10:00 a.m. on January 22 at Van market, Quynh Van commune (Quynh Luu). Accordingly, at that time, Ms. Truong Thi Ly, residing in Quynh Bang commune, went to Van market in Quynh Van commune to buy Tet items. While going to the market, she put 26 million VND in her jacket pocket (this was the amount of money she received from the ward for another person); when she finished buying Tet items, she turned around to get her motorbike to go home, but when she checked her jacket pocket, the above amount of money and her identification papers were gone.

Grasping the incident, the Quynh Luu District Police Force and the regular police team were mobilized to the commune to be present at the scene to visit and encourage the victim; at the same time, arrange forces to inspect and monitor suspicious subjects for investigation.
Previously, on January 21, the Deputy Manager of Van Market also had his motorbike seat pried open to steal 64 million VND from the trunk while he was parking at the Van Son Company office (next to Van Market).
Thus, in just 2 days, at Van market, Quynh Van commune, there were 2 thefts with the amount of 100 million VND.
