Nghe An holds provincial-level fire prevention and fighting drill at VSIP Industrial Park
On the morning of September 13, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized a provincial-level firefighting and rescue drill in 2024 at Everwin dormitory in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park.
Attending the event were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Hong Vinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Director of the Provincial Police; representatives of departments, branches, units and enterprises.
In recent years, fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work has always received deep attention, comprehensive leadership and direction from the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Nghe An province in particular, thereby mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire population to participate in fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work.
Speaking at the drill, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized the role of fire prevention and fighting, especially in the recent past when major fires occurred across the country. At the same time, he wished the forces and soldiers to successfully complete the drill, creating solidarity and smooth coordination between units and departments to promptly handle fire and explosion incidents that may occur in reality.
The 2024 Provincial Fire Prevention and Rescue Plan Drill was held at the Everwin Dormitory in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park. This is an area with a large concentration of workers living and working and is part of the province's key industrial park, with many large investment projects, with a high risk of fire and explosion; requiring absolute safety in fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue, etc.
The exercise steering committee decided to mobilize 500 participants from units of Nghe An Provincial Police, Vinh International Airport, Hung Nguyen District Medical Center, Hung Nguyen Power Company, Cau Bach Water Plant and local forces; mobilized more than 25 specialized firefighting and rescue vehicles, ambulances, traffic police vehicles and other vehicles and equipment.
The situation arises, at 0:45 on x month y year 2024, originating from an electrical short circuit on the power line, in the battery area of the front of the scooter located on the first floor of Everwin Dormitory. To carry out firefighting and rescue missions, the exercise command decided to divide the situation into 3 phases:
Phase 1: After detecting the fire, the on-site force promptly mobilizes on-site forces and means to organize evacuation instructions and carry out initial fire fighting. Implement well the "4 on-site" motto: On-site forces, on-site means, on-site command and on-site logistics.
Phase 2: After receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police mobilized forces and vehicles to promptly and promptly arrive at the fire to organize evacuation instructions, search and rescue victims, prevent the fire from spreading and extinguish the fire quickly and effectively.
Phase 3: Mobilize the combined strength of units, use modern specialized equipment and means to coordinate with the Fire Police force to organize rescue, fire fighting and ensure security and order.
