Nghe An: Won 4 prizes in the North Central Region Art Photography Contest
(Baonghean.vn) - As scheduled, rotating once a year, the 21st North Central Provinces Art Photography Festival 2014 was hosted by the Quang Binh Province Literature and Arts Association, in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists with the theme: "Country - People of North Central". After nearly a year of launching, the Organizing Committee received 1,240 photos from 200 authors from 6 provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue.
On May 17, 2014, at the Quang Binh Literature and Arts Association, after 5 rounds of judging, the Jury of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists selected 125 works for exhibition, of which 11 works were awarded prizes.

Especially at the 21st North Central Art Photography Competition and Festival, Nghe An won 4 out of 11 prizes and won the first prize in the team category, author Sy Minh of Nghe An Newspaper won 3 prizes.
According to the jury's assessment, the works selected for exhibition, especially the 11 award-winning works at this North Central Region Art Photography Festival, have shown the beauty of the country and people of the North Central region provinces, the achievements in economics, science and technology, social security, national security and defense... during the period of industrialization and modernization of the country; typical advanced examples, the beauty in the cultural and spiritual life of ethnic minorities in preserving and promoting national cultural identity.
The award ceremony and opening of the 21st North Central Region Art Photography Festival will take place on May 19, 2014 in Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province.
