Attending the closing ceremony and medal awarding were leaders of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An.

With superior professional skills and enthusiastic support from the home crowd, Nghe An had 8 athletes compete in the finals and won 5 gold medals. Nghe An athletes who won gold medals were Ngu Thi Tuyet (57kg), Nguyen Phi Long (57kg), Phan Van Yen (67kg), Nguyen Van Duc (71kg), Tran Le Hoang (91kg).
In the end, in the 12 men's weight categories, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to Nghe An (4 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 4 bronze medals), the Second Prize to Dak Lak (3 gold medals, 2 bronze medals), and the Third Prize to Ho Chi Minh City (1 gold medal, 2 silver medals).
