Nghe An won First Prize at the 2012 National Population Propaganda Festival

(Baonghean.vn) - From December 9 to 12, the 2012 National Population Propaganda Festival took place in Hanoi.

Participating in the Festival are 19 excellent propaganda teams selected from the regional round. The Nghe An Population Propaganda Team has successfully passed the final round of the Central Highlands region last October to be present at this National Festival. The team has 5 members who are full-time officials and population collaborators in Vinh city.

The Provincial Department of Population and Family Planning received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Health for its outstanding achievements in the National Grassroots Population Propaganda Festival.



Mr. Duong Quoc Trong - General Director of the General Department of Population and Family Planning awarded the first prize to the teams of Nghe An, Binh Dinh and Lam Dong.

As a result, Nghe An Team won the first prize for the whole group; the Gold prize for the greeting performance and the population propaganda talent competition, and two individuals received the excellent propaganda award. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Linh (Population Specialist of Le Loi Ward) and Ms. Dang Thi Hong Lap (Population Collaborator of Le Loi Ward) were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Health for their many contributions to the work of Population and Family Planning.
