In Anh Son district,More than 300 people attended the launch ceremony. According to the report, in 2017, Anh Son district had 5 traffic accidents, killing 2 people and injuring 8 people. Anh Son district police organized 264 patrols to control traffic safety and order, with 987 officers and soldiers participating, thereby detecting and handling 1,191 cases, penalizing 1,615 violations.

Carrying out the work of mobilizing and recovering weapons, explosives, and supporting tools, the authorities recovered 5 pellet guns, 35 alcohol pellet guns, 2 explosive sticks, 140 pellets, 138 K54 bullets, and 13 AK bullets. At the same time, they arrested and handled 9 cases, 9 subjects of "illegal storage, use, and trading of explosives"; 1 case, 11 subjects of "illegal trading of explosives", and seized more than 20 kg of various types of explosives.

In Con Cuong district,About 300 youth union members, officers and soldiers of the armed forces participated in the launching ceremony. This year, Con Cuong district aims to raise awareness of the entire political and social system and all classes of people about traffic awareness, not encroaching on traffic safety corridors, promoting propaganda and dissemination of legal regulations on the management of passenger transport by road and inland waterways.

With the theme “Traffic safety for children”, Traffic Safety Year 2018 aims to raise awareness of protecting children when participating in traffic such as: wearing helmets for children, especially students using electric bicycles and electric motorbikes must be equipped with knowledge about traffic safety.

At the launching ceremony organized by Thanh Chuong District People's Committee,Local leaders have requested agencies and units to widely and effectively deploy three main tasks and solutions: Raising awareness of the whole society about the importance of attacking and suppressing crime; clearing corridors and managing road safety corridors as well as the harmful effects of manufacturing, importing, storing, transporting, trading and using firecrackers.

Strengthening State management and restoring order and discipline in protecting traffic safety corridors, ensuring sustainable road structures, with the goal of "clear roads, open sidewalks, freeing up visibility for vehicles participating in traffic", contributing to reducing traffic accidents.

In 2017, the district filed a case file to handle 212 cases of sidewalk violations, and enforced and cleared 585 cases (including cases of re-encroachment). Also in the year, 772 households signed a commitment not to encroach on road traffic safety corridors in the area.

At the launching ceremony of Que Phong district,The District Traffic Safety Committee has requested agencies, units, 14 communes and towns in the area to focus on widespread propaganda to every block, hamlet and village on ensuring traffic safety order, clearing traffic safety corridors and protecting traffic infrastructure in the area. Especially in the 2018 traffic safety year with the theme "Traffic safety for children", the District Youth Union Executive Committee presided over and coordinated with schools to focus on propagating traffic safety laws to students. The District Police mobilized maximum forces to strengthen patrols and controls, focusing on inner-city areas, key routes, where many violations occurred.

In Do Luong district,500 officials, union members and students of the district participated in the launching ceremony of the Traffic Safety Year.

In 2017, despite the implementation of many measures to ensure traffic safety, hundreds of accidents still occurred in Do Luong district, killing and injuring many people and damaging many vehicles. Do Luong district police detained 592 cars and motorbikes, revoked the licenses of 245 cases, and decided to prosecute 3 cases of traffic safety violations.

After the launching ceremony, communes and towns organized campaigns to clear encroachments on traffic safety corridors, roads and sidewalks. The authorities resolutely handled and rectified the situation of encroachment on corridors and sidewalks for markets and trading, especially before, during and after the Lunar New Year.

This year's campaign, Dien Chau districtDien Ky commune was selected as a pilot. Along with the implementation of the goals of reducing road and railway traffic accidents by 5-10% compared to 2017, the district focused on implementing Resolution 56 of the Provincial People's Council on clearing violations of road, railway and sidewalk traffic safety corridors in the period of 2017-2020.

Accordingly, measures such as propaganda, mobilization, signing of commitments, enforcement against cases of non-voluntary demolition and prevention of re-encroachment have been implemented. In 2017, Dien Chau district cleared 4,500 violations, including 2,000 constructions and 2,500 billboards, trees, etc.

In Thai Hoa Town,The central ward of Thai Hoa town, Hoa Hieu, also organized a ceremony to launch a campaign to clear and handle violations of traffic safety corridors.

Hoa Hieu Ward is considered a locality that has resolutely implemented the clearance of violations of traffic safety corridors in Thai Hoa town. On this occasion, the ward organized propaganda, mobilization and clearance activities within 1 week. The focus of the program is to mobilize households to sign a commitment not to violate the corridor. In cases of intentional violations, the locality will resolutely handle them. In the morning of the campaign, the functional forces dismantled dozens of architectural objects and encroaching billboards. They cleared trees that obscured the view, cleared spontaneous businesses that violated traffic corridors.
