At the meeting, the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee informed about some outstanding features and socio-economic development situation of each locality.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh expressed his joy at knowing that recently, Dong Thap has had comprehensive socio-economic development, especially in improving the competitiveness index to attract investment and is gradually turning challenges caused by the impact of climate change into opportunities to restructure agricultural production.

Comrade Le Minh Hoan - Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee also expressed his joy that after 5 years of implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo, Nghe An has made progress in socio-economic development, especially in attracting investment and having a new direction in agricultural development.

Nghe An and Dong Thap are two provinces with many similarities, so the Secretaries of the two Provincial Party Committees also shared opportunities for cooperation in the coming time, especially in the fields of agricultural and tourism development.

Also at the meeting, the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee agreed on the policy and directed the Radio and Television stations of the two localities to successfully carry out the television program "Chung doa Sen Hong", scheduled to be held on May 13 - on the occasion of the 128th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.

With a duration of 90 minutes, this is an art program recreating the patriotic journey from Nguyen Sinh Sac to President Ho Chi Minh; the affection of the people of the South for Uncle Ho, and at the same time acknowledging the efforts of the Party Committee and people of the two provinces in socio-economic development.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh and Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee Le Minh Hoan affirmed that in addition to organizing the television bridge "Sharing the Pink Lotus", in the coming time, it is possible to organize another television bridge "From lotus fields to lotus ponds" to further connect and tighten the relationship between the two provinces, thereby opening up cooperation opportunities for mutual development./.
