Nghe An met with 80 medical staff and doctors returning from supporting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province.
(Baonghean.vn) - Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh expressed his hope that medical staff will continue to try and make important contributions to help Nghe An province effectively prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
On the morning of November 8, Nghe An Department of Health organized a meeting with two medical staff groups that had just completed the mission of reinforcing theHo Chi Minh Cityand provinceDong Naireturn. These are the last two groups to return, out of a total of seven groups of medical staff from Nghe An sent to support southern provinces and cities to fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

The two medical delegations of Nghe An province consist of 80 people, coming from 33 public and private medical units in the province. The medical delegation for Ho Chi Minh City consists of 50 people, with a mission duration of 40 days. The medical delegation for Dong Nai province consists of 30 people, with a mission duration of 75 days.
Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center, Director of Nghe An Department of Health praised and highly appreciated the dedication, sacrifice, and efforts to excellently complete the tasks of medical staff.
Nghe An medical staff have truly left good and deep impressions in the hearts of the people of Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province in particular and the southern provinces and cities in general; affirming the position and noble qualities of Nghe An doctors.

Announcing the Covid-19 epidemic situation in his home province, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh expressed his hope that medical staff returning from Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province would continue to try and make important contributions, helping Nghe An effectively prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.
At the ceremony, leaders of Nghe An Department of Health and the Health Sector Trade Union presented gifts from the Provincial Labor Federation and Vietnam Health Trade Union to 80 medical staff who had successfully completed their tasks and returned home.
