(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, in Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak), Tuoi Tho Math Magazine organized the 2014 National Tuoi Tho Math Olympiad with the participation of 39 teams (216 students) of primary school students and 29 teams (174 students) of secondary school students from 34 provinces and cities across the country.

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, in Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak), Tuoi Tho Math Magazine organized the 2014 National Tuoi Tho Math Olympiad with the participation of 39 teams (216 students) of primary school students and 29 teams (174 students) of secondary school students from 34 provinces and cities across the country.

According to the regulations, each candidate must take two exams. In the individual exam, in 30 minutes, each candidate must do 15 multiple choice problems and 01 essay problem. In the team relay exam, each candidate must do 2 multiple choice problems.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 247 Medals and 82 Certificates of Merit (Encouragement Prizes) to students with high achievements in the individual competition and 32 Cups to teams with high achievements in the team relay competition. Of which, at the primary level, there were 22 Gold Medals, 44 Silver Medals, 66 Bronze Medals, 40 Certificates of Merit for the individual competition; 3 Gold Cups, 6 Silver Cups, 9 Bronze Cups for the team relay competition.

At this National Math Olympiad for Children, Nghe An participated with 2 teams, including 12 primary school students (including Thanh Chuong with 4 students; Dien Chau with 3 students; Hoang Mai with 2 students; Nghi Loc with 1 student; Tan Ky with 1 student; Vinh with 1 student) and all of them won prizes with 01 Gold Medal, 03 Silver Medals, 05 Bronze Medals, 03 Certificates of Merit for the individual competition (Thanh Chuong students won 1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal, 1 Bronze Medal, 1 Bronze Medal; Dien Chau: 1 Silver Medal, 2 Bronze Medals; Hoang Mai: 1 Bronze Medal, 1 Bronze Medal; Nghi Loc: 1 Silver Medal; Tan Ky: 1 Bronze Medal; Vinh: 1 Bronze Medal). Nghe An student who won the Gold Medal was Tran Vo Khoi Nguyen (Thanh Chuong Town Primary School).
