Nghe An: Two young men rented a short-term room, ordered materials online to make firecrackers.

Previously, through understanding the situation, Thanh Vinh Ward Police discovered a number of subjects from other places renting accommodation in the area with suspicious signs related to the production and trading of prohibited goods (fireworks). These subjects connected with each other, bought raw materials online tohomemade fireworks

The subjects operate very sophisticatedly to conceal their violations. They rent short-term accommodation to avoid being noticed; take advantage of sparsely populated areas, operate at night to manufacture and test products; package and hide evidence in everyday household items in an attempt to evade the authorities.

Synchronously deploying professional measures, at about 8:00 p.m. on October 3, 2025, in front of lane 87, Ha Huy Tap street, Thanh Vinh ward police arrested 02 subjects NVGB (born 2005), residing in Tien Dong commune, Nghe An province and VTN (born 2003), residing in Quy Hop commune, Nghe An province for the act of manufacturing and trading in prohibited goods. At the scene, the police seized 31 homemade firecrackers; plastic bags containing substances used to make firecrackers and some other related evidence.

At the police station, the two subjects confessed to buying raw materials online, then bringing them home to make homemade firecrackers with the intention of using them and selling them for profit.

Thanh Vinh Ward Police recommends: Buying and selling explosive precursors, making, storing and using firecrackers are illegal acts, potentially causing fire and explosion, and injury to yourself and others. To prevent unfortunate incidents caused by firecrackers, parents and schools need to strengthen management and educate their children not to buy, sell, store, use or make illegal firecrackers in any form.
