Nghe An: More than 2,000 billion VND for site clearance for North-South expressway project
(Baonghean.vn) - According to statistics, there are about 697 households in Nghe An affected by the North-South Expressway project that must be resettled, the total cost of site clearance for the sections through Nghe An is 2,191 billion VND.
Of the total budget of VND 2,191 billion for site clearance for the sections through Nghe An, the portion for the Nghi Son - Dien Chau sub-project is VND 1,033 billion; the portion for the Dien Chau - Bai Vot sub-project is VND 1,088 billion.

The North-South Expressway project through Nghe An province is about 87.84 km long, belonging to the Nghi Son - Dien Chau sub-project and the Dien Chau - Bai Vot sub-project; passing through Hoang Mai town and the districts of Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen.Of which, passing through agricultural land is 66.8km (76%); passing through residential land is 21km (24%).
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc An, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport, the representative monitoring and urging the project through Nghe An, the capital work for site clearance is currently in progress..The work of approving the master plan through the districts of Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen has been completed. The remaining work is being carried out in Hoang Mai town.
Currently, Nghe An has been granted 660 billion VND in land acquisition and compensation for this project; the part of the Nghi Son - Dien Chau sub-project has transferred 320 billion VND to the Compensation and Compensation Council of districts and towns, of which: Hoang Mai town 90 billion VND, Quynh Luu district 100 billion VND, Dien Chau district (Nghi Son - Dien Chau section) 90 billion VND, Yen Thanh district 40 billion VND.

The part of the Dien Chau - Bai Vot sub-project has transferred 340 billion VND to the Compensation Councils for Land Acquisition and Site Clearance of the districts, of which: Dien Chau district 80 billion VND, Nghi Loc district 60 billion VND, Hung Nguyen district 200 billion VND.
