Nghe An: More than 2,100 candidates take part in the provincial excellent student exam for grade 12
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 27, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province held the opening ceremony of the provincial excellent student exam for grade 12.
There are 2,127 grade 12 candidates taking exams in Math, Literature, English, Russian, French, History, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Informatics and Civic Education.
Candidates are divided into 2 groups. Group B includes high schools in 5 mountainous districts: Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Quy Chau, Que Phong; and non-public high schools. The remaining high schools are in Group A.
For grade 12 GDTX high school, there is only 1 board. Each school is allowed to participate from 1 - 3 candidates/subject. Grade 12 GDTX high school students will take the exams in the subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History and Geography.
PrivatePhan Boi Chau High School for the Giftedand Vinh University High School for the Gifted, can register the whole class for the specialized subject and a maximum of 3 students/subject for non-specialized subjects. For the IT subject, except for Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and Vinh University High School for the Gifted, the remaining schools will take 1 candidate/school to take the exam.
The contest for excellent students is organized with the aim of motivating and encouraging teachers and students to promote their creativity, teach well, and study well; contributing to promoting the improvement and enhancement of the quality of teaching and learning, the quality of management and direction of educational management levels.
