Nghe An: More than 500 actors participate in the 2022 Sen Village Singing Festival

As part of the series of activities of the 2022 Sen Village Festival program to celebrate the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022), the Singing Festival ProgramLotus Village2022 to praise and honor the ideological value of President Ho Chi Minh, the outstanding communist soldier, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity.

In her opening speech, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports said: The 2022 Sen Village Singing Festival has been a traditional cultural activity for decades. This year's festival takes place in an atmosphere where the entire Party and people of the whole country in general, and Nghe An in particular, are excited to successfully implement the goals set at the 13th National Party Congress and the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress.

From April to early May 2022, the Department of Culture of districts, cities and towns organized the grassroots Sen Village Singing Festival. Actors, artists and people eagerly participated after a long time of not being able to perform and enjoy artistic values ​​directly due toCovid-19 epidemic.

This year’s provincial-level Lotus Village Singing Festival is held at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site in Nam Dan District, a sacred land where Uncle Ho was born and grew up during his childhood. By choosing this space and location, in the fragrant lotus-scented days of May, the Organizing Committee hopes that the actors will have more emotions when offering their songs to Uncle Ho.
