Nghe An cooperates to build an exhibition hall about Leader Kaysone Phomvihane (Laos)

(Baonghean) - Today, December 19, in the capital Vientiane - Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province coordinated with the Management Board of Kaysone Phomvihane Relics (Laos) to implement the Project to build an Exhibition Room about President Kaysone Phomvihane at the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum of Vietnam.

The working delegation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province led by Mr. Nguyen Cong Nhuan - Deputy Director of the Department, and the Lao side led by Mr. Souvandi Sysavath, Deputy of the Central Office of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Head of the Management Board of the Kaysone Phomvihane Relic Site, highly agreed on the contents and plans to be submitted to the leaders of Laos and Vietnam to build a gallery displaying the life and career of the late Party Chairman - Kaysone Phomvihane along with the revolutionary cause and tradition of fighting to build and protect Laos at the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the Cay Son Phom Vi Han Museum will provide the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum with more than 50 artifacts and documents related to the life and career of President Cay Son Phom Vi Han.

The purpose of this implementation step is to welcome the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Year 2012 and celebrate the upcoming major holidays of the two countries, and at the same time contribute to educating the generations of the two countries about the special, loyal friendship and solidarity of the Parties and peoples of Vietnam and Laos, so that the people of the two countries can better understand the great yet simple example of Lao leader Kaysone Phomvihane.

The construction of the Exhibition Hall of President Kaysone Phomvihane in Nghe An is a practical work, expressing the thoughts of the people of Nghe An in particular, Vietnam and Laos in general towards President Kaysone Phomvihane in particular.

The Kaysone Phomvihane Relic Site in Vientiane, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, is a place that preserves many relics associated with the life of the late Chairman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party during his lifetime. The garden, the house, and the simple relics here still retain the warmth of the late President. These relics represent the simple lifestyle of the Lao revolutionary leader in his daily life, which is why he is forever an exemplary model for generations of Lao people to follow and learn from. President Kaysone Phomvihane was a close, loyal, and trusted friend and comrade of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party, and the People of Vietnam.
