Nghe An loses 130 billion VND in revenue from beer and hydropower projects
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Nghe An Tax Department, since the beginning of the year, due to the impact of drought and the market, many key projects in Nghe An have lost about 130 billion VND in revenue compared to the plan.

Specifically: The revenue shortfall of 4 new hydroelectric plants reached 10% of the budget revenue plan with 38 billion VND/plan 381 billion VND. The reason is that the electricity output is much lower than last year. Saigon Song Lam beer output decreased by 4 million liters, Hanoi beer decreased by 1.3 million liters, causing a tax loss of 30 billion VND. Nghe An Sugarcane Joint Venture only collected 24 billion VND, equal to 32% of the estimate due to reduced area. Vinamilk milk branch only received 31 billion VND per month, only half of the tax in 2015.

Besides, the new land use fee reaches more than 30%.
Although revenue in the first 5 months of 2016 increased compared to the same period last year, it only reached 39% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee. Of which, there were 3 revenue items that were higher than the estimate: Revenue from mineral exploitation rights reached 66%, revenue from registration fees reached 53%, and revenue from environmental protection tax reached 51%.
