Nghe An rewards athletes and coaches with high achievements at national mass sports tournaments
On the afternoon of July 12, the Department of Culture and Sports organized a ceremony to reward athletes with high achievements in national mass sports competitions in the third quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024.
In the third quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, Nghe An mass sports delegations with 7 coaches and 41 athletes participated in 4 national mass sports tournaments, winning 3 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals and 17 Bronze Medals.

Specifically, at the National Badminton Tournament for Middle and Seniors held in Thanh Hoa province, Nghe An athletes won 1 Bronze Medal.
At the National Sports Championship for the Disabled held in Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An athletes won 1 Gold Medal, 2 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals.

At the National Pole Push Championship held in Dak Lak province, Nghe An athletes won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Bronze Medals.
At the National Tug of War Championship also held in Dak Lak province, Nghe An athletes won 1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal and 11 Bronze Medals.

At the award ceremony, leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports commended the achievements of Nghe An athletes and coaches at national tournaments in the last 6 months of 2023. At the same time, they asked the athletes and coaches to strive to practice regularly after returning to their localities and be the core and typical examples of the local physical training and sports movement./.
