Nghe An is the first locality to implement quality assurance work for general schools.

On the morning of September 28, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on quality assurance in general education institutions in Nghe An province.

The conference was deployed online to all high schools and 21 departments of education and training in the province.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, DirectorDepartment of Education and TrainingThai Van Thanh believes that quality assurance work in educational institutions aims to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance activities.general education, preschool education to improve the quality of comprehensive education and leadership activities. On that basis, both meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, successfully implementing the 2018 General Education Program, and preparing a solid, comprehensive knowledge foundation, life values, soft skills and global skills for students, capable of effectively meeting the needs of high-quality human resources; becoming the center for the process of innovation, creativity, providing knowledge for socio-economic development.

At this time, Nghe An is the first locality in the country to develop a plan to ensure quality in general education institutions. Therefore, in the implementation process, the head of the education sector affirmed that this is a rather difficult problem because there is no precedent and no model to learn from. However, in the current context, implementing quality assurance work in educational institutions is extremely important to improve the effectiveness of management and improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools, especially mass education and towards real learning and real exams.

To implement effectively, the Education sector requires schools to be flexible in the implementation process, applying theory to the implementation process. In addition, schools and especially the heads of the Education sector need to have a spirit of innovation, be aware of the culture of quality so that the management and implementation of work will progress day by day.

The Department will periodically review and evaluate to gradually adjust the plan to make it feasible and effective in practice.

According to the plan, from this school year, Nghe An will apply the CIPO model in ensuring educational quality for general education institutions, to ensure the input and output processes in schools. Implementing this model, Nghe An also aims to build a learning environment that is friendly, safe, and healthy in teaching and learning.

In which, the ultimate goal is to form a quality culture in schools towards the real quality of students, towards the success of learners.

To do so, schools will have to ensure quality.AdmissionRight from the beginning of the school year, recruit the right requirements, standards, sufficient quantity, promote the right to study of students, attract excellent students. The school also needs to build a team of teachers with sufficient quantity and structure, ensure quality, ensure equipment, facilities, teaching aids, minimum teaching equipment according to regulations, fully serve teaching and learning; meet advanced teaching and learning. Each semester, each year, schools will evaluate the learning quality of students in each semester and compare with the results of the previous semester.
