Nghe An: First time organizing Science and Technology competition for high school level online
(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the impact of the epidemic, this year's contest was held online with many new features in the organization.
On the morning of December 27, the Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony.Science and Technology CompetitionProvincial secondary level school year 2021 - 2022.
This year’s competition attracted 172 projects, including 78 projects at the secondary school level and 94 projects at the high school level. The competition also attracted more than 300 students from 127 secondary and high schools across the province.
This is an annual competition to encourage high school students to conduct scientific research, create technical and technological innovations, and apply learned knowledge into real life; at the same time, it contributes to innovating teaching and learning methods, evaluating learning outcomes, and developing students' abilities.

Due to the conditions of this school year, this is the first time the provincial science and technology competition for high school students is organized online. Accordingly, each project participating in the competition will be evaluated through 02 independent parts (total score 100), each part is evaluated by 03 judges. In which, part 1 will be evaluated directly on the project profile, according to the criteria: Research question/Research problem; Research plan and Research method; Implementation of the research plan.
In part 2, the judges will judgeonlineProject summary presentation, interview with candidates on criteria: Creativity, Poster/Presentation; Interview. During the competition, each candidate and each judge is given 01 account to participate in the competition. To serve the project presentation, candidates prepare content on Poster, Word file, PowerPoint...; in addition, videos, images... can be used to illustrate the presentation.

Previously, to organize this contest, each participating unit established a location to organize for contestants to participate in Part 2. In addition, each contest project in 1 field was arranged a room with 1 to 2 computers connected to the Internet, with speakers, microphones, and cameras for contestants to participate. This year, according to the regulations, only profiles approved by the Director of the Department of Education and Training as eligible to participate in the contest will be allowed to participate.
This year's competition is expected to take place over 4 days, from December 27-30, 2021. The best projects will be selected to participate in the national science and technology competition.
