(Baonghean.vn) - Organizing a ceremony during the period of social distancing, the family of Mr. Vi Van Quan, residing in Nga My commune (Tuong Duong) was administratively handled for violating Directive 16.
Tuong Duong District People's Committee has just issued Document No. 335/UBND-VX dated April 13, 2020, sent to the Party Committee and People's Committee of Nga My commune regarding handling violations of Directive 16/CT-TTg in the area.
Previously, on April 8, at the family of Mr. Vi Van Quan, residing in Na Ngan village, Nga My commune, a ceremony was held with the participation of many villagers, including the head of Na Ngan village.
Although the practice of making offerings to ancestors took place mainly within families, the above incident violated Directive No. 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on implementing urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

After checking and verifying, the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district issued a document requesting the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Nga My commune to organize a review of the responsibilities of the collectives and individuals assigned to direct, inspect, and supervise the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in Na Ngan village. The Party cell of Na Ngan village was directed to review and clarify the responsibilities for the violations of Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister in Na Ngan village.
The District People's Committee also requested administrative sanctions against Mr. Vi Van Quan's family for not complying with Directive No. 16/CT-TTg as prescribed.
According to the representative of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district: Along with propaganda and reminders, the district's viewpoint is to strictly and thoroughly handle any individual or collective that intentionally violates Directive 16 of the Prime Minister.
