Nghe An: A student drowned

(Baonghean) -The tragic drowning incident occurred at around 10am on August 1st at Khe Cat dam.

At about the same time, Tran Thi Thuong (15 years old, in hamlet 13, Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) and 4 other female friends in the hamlet went to pick sim fruit next to Khe Cat dam. Due to carelessness, Thuong slipped and fell into the dam. Because the dam was too flooded
Because she was so big, the other children did not dare to save her and ran back to the village to call their relatives. When everyone ran up, Thuong was missing.

Search measures such as using drag nets and fishing rods were used, but as of 1:30 p.m. the same day, Thuong's body had not been found.
