Nghe An: A fisherman fell into the sea and died
(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing offshore, a fisherman from Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu, Nghe An) had a seizure and fell into the sea and died.
On the afternoon of March 12, Mr. Pham Anh Tuyen, Party cell secretary of Dai Hai village, Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu) confirmed that his younger brother, fisherman Pham Nguyen (born in 1970), residing in Dai Hai village, Quynh Long commune, died while fishing at sea.
Accordingly, on the morning of March 12, while fishing offshore in Nghe An waters, fisherman Pham Nguyen had a seizure, had difficulty breathing, walked on the deck of the boat and slipped and fell into the sea. The crew on the fishing boat immediately picked Nguyen up and performed first aid on the spot, while calling relatives on the mainland. However, the victim died later.
It is known that Mr. Nguyen worked as a hired laborer on a fishing boat of a fisherman in Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district.
It is expected that tonight, March 12, the fishing boat carrying the body of fisherman Pham Nguyen will dock at Lach Quen port and hand it over to his family for burial.
