Nghe An: Many roads are flooded with garbage
(Baonghean.vn) - In the days leading up to Lunar New Year, littering and burning of garbage on many streets in Nghe An province has caused environmental pollution, affecting the landscape and people's lives. However, this situation has not been corrected by local authorities.

According to Decree No. 45/2022/ND-CP on regulations on administrative sanctions for violations of waste collection and disposal in violation of environmental protection regulations, the following penalties shall be imposed: A fine of VND 500,000 to VND 1,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of dumping, disposing of waste, or dumping wastewater in the wrong place in apartment buildings, commercial or service areas, or public places; A fine of VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of dumping, disposing of waste on sidewalks, roadsides, or into urban wastewater drainage systems. Not only is littering indiscriminately in deserted areas, but also in busy residential areas on Dinh Cong Trang Street, Vinh City (adjacent to the Petroleum Apartment Complex), this situation still occurs frequently.
