Nghe An: Female interpreter is F1 of Chinese expert infected with Covid-19, first negative test

F1 of the Chinese expert is a female interpreter at a company in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, currently residing in Khoa Da hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.

On April 27, the female interpreter was on flight number VN7161, seat number 206, departing from Hanoi toDanang.On this flight there is a guest who is an expert.China.

On April 29, this Chinese expert returned home and was confirmed to be infected with Covid-19.

This person then went to church on May 1 and went to the citizen identification card issuance point at the Khoa Da hamlet cultural house on the morning of May 2.

On the evening of May 2, when it was determined that she was on the same flight as a person infected with Covid-19, this female interpreter was taken to the quarantine medical station.

Hung Nguyen District Medical Center took samples and sent them to Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control for testing. The first test result showed negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Currently, health authorities are continuing to quarantine and closely monitor the health of the female interpreter. Hung Tay Commune has been screening and identifying those who have been in close contact with the female interpreter to implement Covid-19 prevention measures according to regulations.

Since April 26, Nghe An has traced and identified 18 F1 cases and over 300 F2 cases. All 18 F1 cases tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus in the first test and are being quarantined at commune health stations./.
