Nghe An: Female driver mistakenly stepped on the gas pedal, car crashed into a car parked across the street
(Baonghean.vn) - While trying to avoid an electric bicycle, the female driver mistakenly stepped on the gas pedal, causing a strong collision with another car parked on the opposite side of the road.
At 6:30 p.m. on June 21, female driver Thai Thi H, residing in Hoa Son commune (Do Luong), was driving a car with license plate 37A-49051 from the direction of Do Luong monument to the commercial market intersection. When reaching the inner-city road in block 4 of Do Luong town, she collided with a mother and daughter riding an electric bicycle in the same direction, causing both mother and daughter to fall onto the road, but fortunately only suffered minor injuries.

However, due to panic, while steering, the female driver mistakenly pressed the brake pedal instead of the accelerator, causing the car to jump forward and rush straight to the other side of the road, crashing head-on into the left side of a City car parked on the side of the road.
The strong collision caused the City car to slide about 1.5 meters onto the sidewalk and severely damaged its left side. The female driver's car had severe damage to the front end.
