Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on June 2, at km 30 of National Highway 7A, the working group of the 1/7 traffic control patrol team, PC67 department of Nghe An province police on duty in Yen Son commune - Do Luong signaled to stop a truck with license plate 37N - 3056. The vehicle was driven by Mr. Ngo Thanh Nhan, born in 1984. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle was carrying 5 dead cows weighing 2,315 kg of unknown origin, emitting a foul odor and without a quarantine certificate. According to Ngo Thanh Nhan's statement, at 4:00 p.m. on June 2, Ms. Nguyen Thi Guong hired a truck to transport 5 cows from Dai Son - Do Luong to Dien Chau district for sale for 500,000 VND.
The People's Committee of Do Luong district has established a committee to destroy dead animals without quarantine certificates and conduct chemical treatment and destruction according to the law. In addition, the owner, Ms. Nguyen Thi Guong, was administratively fined 4 million VND and all destruction costs.
