Nghe An: Young man found dead from suspected drug shock

(Baonghean.vn)- On June 14, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Chief of Police of My Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh District), a young man in the area had just died of suspected drug shock.

The victim was Mr. Luong Cong Chung (born in 1991), residing in Hamlet 2, Minh Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh District).

Accordingly, at around 1:00 p.m. on June 13, the Commune Police Department received a report from My Thanh Commune Health Station about a young man being taken to the emergency room by two other people in critical condition.

When the police arrived at the medical station, the victim had already died. Immediately afterwards, the commune police reported the incident to the district police to investigate the cause of the incident.

Initial investigation by the district police determined that the victim may have died from drug shock. The victim’s family did not request an autopsy.

According to Mr. Tran Khanh Tung, Chairman of Minh Thanh Commune: The victim Chung's family is very poor, the victim is the only child and currently lives with his mother. On the morning of June 14, the family and local authorities buried the victim.
