(Baonghean.vn) - A group of people were performing a ritual when the police raided and made a record.

On April 7, Anh Son District Police said that the unit is consolidating records to handle a group of people who illegally preached in the area.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of April 4, Anh Son District Police coordinated with Phuc Son Border Guard Station to inspect and discover at the house of Le Van Thanh (36 years old, Tra Lan village, Phuc Son commune) there were 12 people (including 6 adults and 6 children) participating in the "Church of God the Mother".

The working group made a record of the incident, confiscated 2 Old and New Testament Bibles; 1 laptop (a computer used to propagate the “Church of God the Mother”); 6 white headscarves; 47 envelopes containing offerings from believers... and brought the related subjects to headquarters to fight and clarify the incident.
At the police station, this group confessed that they were conducting ritual activities of the Church of God led by Dang Sy Nham (29 years old, residing in Da Son, Do Luong), organized and propagandized, attracting citizens in the area to participate.

This is an organization that has not been recognized by the State but still secretly approaches people to illegally preach religion to avoid detection by authorities. From there, it propagates, attracts, and entices gullible people to participate. The activities of this organization have been and are causing complications in social order, disrupting the religious life of the people.

The police also warned people not to be gullible and listen to the enticements of those organizing gatherings under the "Church of God the Mother"; any violations will be strictly handled according to the law.

At the same time, the police also hope that local people will coordinate to thoroughly fight and handle the illegal activities of the group "Church of God the Mother". When discovering activities of the group "Church of God the Mother", they should promptly notify the police or local authorities to fight and handle.
