Nghe An will cooperate in investment with Kaesong Industrial Park, Korea

(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the working program in Seoul, Korea, on the afternoon of October 12, the delegation of Nghe An province led by Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Kaesong Industrial Park Association to organize a Seminar on Investment Promotion and Business Connection.

Also attending the workshop were Mr. Pham Huu Chi - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Korea, Mr. Jeong Gi Seob - Chairman of Kaesong Industrial Park Association, Mr. Kim Nam Sik - Chairman of Kaesong Industrial Park Support Fund and more than 100 Korean enterprises and investors.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the Workshop.

At the workshop, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee introduced the general potential, strengths, mechanisms, policies and investment attraction areas of Nghe An. He emphasized and expressed his hope that through the workshop, he would receive much attention and attract many Korean investors to invest in Nghe An, including investors in the Kaesong Industrial Park.

Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa and members of the delegation also answered questions from Korean investors.

Mr. Jeong Gi Seob - Chairman of Kaesong Industrial Zone Association spoke highly of the determination of Nghe An provincial government in approaching and attracting Korean investors. He also hoped that in the near future, there would be delegations from Kaesong Industrial Zone Association as well as enterprises and investors investing in Kaesong Industrial Zone to Nghe An to survey and conduct specific research to invest in project development.

Ambassador Pham Huu Chi welcomed Nghe An's initiative to coordinate with organizations and businesses in Korea to organize investment promotion seminars.

Speaking at the workshop, Ambassador Pham Huu Chi welcomed the initiative of Nghe An province to coordinate with organizations and enterprises in Korea to organize meetings and exchanges with Korean enterprises and investors right in Seoul. The Ambassador also hoped that after these workshops, the province would continue to make efforts to build better relationships with Korean organizations and enterprises to support and create the most favorable conditions for Korean investors when they come to research and invest in projects in Nghe An.

On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Kaesong Industrial Park Association signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation.

On October 13 and 14, as planned, the Nghe An Provincial Delegation will continue to attend the Workshop with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and a number of large enterprises in Korea.
