Nghe An will manage business household taxes on digital platforms
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the roadmap assigned by the General Department of Taxation, the Nghe An Provincial Tax Department will deploy the function of digitalizing business households in phase 2 starting from February 1, 2024. The digital map of business households is considered one of the effective business management solutions on a digital platform.
Outstanding advantages of business household digital map

Previously, the disclosure of business household information was done manually and publicly on the Tax Department's website, which was only in the form of a list, not presented visually, and did not support easy lookup and search. In addition, the disclosure was organized by each locality, so the public information was not updated on the same centralized system, leading to inconvenient exploitation, lookup, and analysis of management data, and difficulty in sharing information with relevant State management agencies.
Faced with such shortcomings, to carry out the process of promoting digital transformation and digitizing tax management, the General Department of Taxation has deployed the function of Digital Map of Business Households applied throughout the Tax sector to improve the effectiveness of publicizing information on business households according to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration.

Mr. Vo Van Hung - Deputy Director of the Provincial Tax Department assessed: "The digital map of business households will contribute significantly to supporting tax authorities in managing taxpayers in a visual way, grasping the area well, preventing missing households, and preventing budget losses. At the same time, it also better supports people, businesses, state management agencies and business households in providing feedback to tax authorities on tax management of business households by local tax authorities, enhancing publicity and transparency in tax management".
The province has more than 160,000 individual businesses. When operating, information about business households such as: Tax code, full name, signboard, street name, business line, invoice usage status, revenue, tax rate and tax payment time... will be encoded and stored in digital form on the business household digital map, the information is made public to business households.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Y Nhi, a clothing business owner in Ben Thuy Ward (Vinh City) said: “According to what the tax officials have propagated and what I have learned on tax websites, the business household number map will help us easily grasp information about new tax policies; at the same time, check and monitor the monthly tax rate of our business and refer to information from many other businesses in the same industry.

In addition, the application of digital maps of business households also helps us promote products and services, contributing to attracting more customers and increasing revenue. Therefore, personally, when the Tax Department requested the implementation, I was very sympathetic and responsive."
The digital map of business households is deployed on the eTax Mobile application to facilitate business households, people, enterprises, state management agencies and other organizations to look up and respond to information on handheld smart devices anytime, anywhere. The digital map of business households is installed, managed and operated centrally at the General Department of Taxation. Information is automatically, regularly and continuously updated from information approved by the tax authority and publicly posted on the Tax Department's website according to the tax management process for business households issued with Decision No. 2371/QD-TCT dated December 18, 2015 of the General Department of Taxation.
