(Baonghean) - On the morning of December 29, the Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement of Nghe An province held a conference to review 2 years of implementing the Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement of 2008 and deploy the enforcement work in 2012. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Van Luyen - General Director of the Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice; Thai Van Hang - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Civil Judgment Enforcement of Nghe An province.

The Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement was passed by the 12th National Assembly on November 14, 2008. After 2 years of implementing the Law, many important results have been achieved. The work of supervising and supervising the enforcement of civil judgments has been paid attention to and strengthened by all levels and sectors. Regarding the results of enforcement, from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2011, the whole province has handled 24,769 cases, of which 18,388 cases were eligible for enforcement (accounting for 78.26%); 17,515 cases were completed (reaching 95.25%). Thereby, the total amount of money handled was 273 billion 166 million VND, the number of cases reduced compared to 2009 was 1,741 cases (reaching 25%).

Although positive results have been achieved, the implementation of the new Law on Enforcement of Judgments still faces many difficulties and limitations, such as the number of cases transferred to the next period has decreased but is still large, there are still many complicated and prolonged cases, and the dissemination and popularization of legal regulations is not uniform among units. In addition to objective reasons such as guidance documents are not specific, not suitable to reality, and inconsistent with relevant laws, on the part of the civil enforcement sector, some units have not accurately and thoroughly implemented the regulations on procedures for civil enforcement, and there have been violations in the delay in issuing decisions on enforcement.

Speaking at the conference, highly appreciating the efforts of the industry in the past time, comrade Thai Van Hang also frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations. In the coming time, to successfully implement the targets and tasks of 2012, he proposed ten main tasks, focusing on key tasks such as: proposing to superiors to study and amend and supplement the Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement (CJE) and documents guiding its implementation to suit the reality; resolutely not allowing the situation of inaccurate case classification to occur; Building a clean and strong Party organization; promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Van Luyen - General Director of the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement, on behalf of the industry, presented the emulation flag of the Judicial Sector to the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department. Many individuals were awarded the title of emulation fighter and certificates of merit from the Ministry of Justice, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department.
